What’s new?
The Smart Home eBook version 1.6 was released today (September 9, 2025). Here’s what’s new:
- We updated the MQTT libraries to use with the ESP32 and ESP8266. We now recommend using the ESPAsync and AsyncTCP libraries by ESP32Async;
- We updated the instructions that use Cloudflare because the interface has completely changed;
- We double-checked some of the instructions to make sure everything is working and up to date;
- We updated the WhatsApp number to receive the API key.
