Working through smart home with raspberry pi esp32 and esp8266  and have installed it OK although it is now 2.4 on page 230 you say click on InfluxDb 2.0 OS metrics but I dont see that displayed like you have on page 229.  It asks me to create a new dashboard then name it then set up cells.  Under recen t dashboards it tells me I dont have any dashboards.
What am I missing.

Cheers Mal

Hi.
What’s the version of InfluxDB you have installed? You can see that when you access InfluxDB at the right.

Weird…
It’s the same version as mine.
Maybe something went wrong during the installation.

That dashboard is not crucial to follow the next projects. That dashboard shows information about your InfluxDB system. However, if you would like to create that dashboard, I found the following instructions that show how to install it manually:

I am going to havr to blow away the install and start over.  The pi has become very slow and almost unresponsive.
Any chance of an explanation on what each of the icommands  on page 225 and 226 do.

Hi again.
I’m sorry for taking so long to get back to you. We’re currently out of the office with little access to the internet.
Have you managed to fix your InfluxDB installation?

Sara
