APP-button to control ESP32 WEB-server

I need an APP-button to easily access my ESP32 WEB-server. I do not wish to enter the IP-address in a browser – once setup I just want to open an APP (on Android or iPhone) and it should connect directly to my WEB-server. Any good ideas?

Hi.
I think the easiest way is to add a shortcut icon to your homescreen that opens the web server IP address.
The following explains how to do it (iPhone and Android):

Hi Sara – Yes it works. Much better and easier. Problem fixed.
And I can Google that there are ways to set to my own custom made Icon …

Tha’ts great!
I haven’t tested that feature myself. But, it seems very interesting, not only for ESP projects but also for other websites we use often daily. I need to take a look at that.
