Dear Mr. Rui,
I am trying to make a simple IoT project, using Arduino UNO board and ESP8266 – 01 module.
Can you please give me a circuit diagram (To control Simple LED Connected to pin say 7 of Arduino) and a sketch, so that this LED can be controlled any where from the world.

Hi, try this:
create.arduino.cc/projecthub/jeffpar0721/add-wifi-to-arduino-uno-663b9e
But all you need is NodeMCU esp8266
- banggood.com/Mini-NodeMCU-ESP8266-WIFI-Development-Board-Based-On-ESP-12F-p-1054209.html
- instructables.com/id/Internet-Controlled-LED-Using-NodeMCU/
- circuits4you.com/2018/02/05/esp8266-arduino-wifi-web-server-led-on-off-control/
To have access over Internet, you need to forward port your router
Hope it helps …
Hi Dattatraya Apte.
Do you really need to have the Arduino connected to the ESP8266?
If you’re following the ESP8266 Home Automation Course, you can follow this module: https://rntlab.com/module-2/course-overview/ – it only uses the ESP8266
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Sara
Thanks for your prompt response. I know Node MCU will serve this purpose and I have already tried it out successfully. I am very clear that that ” I want my Arduino to communicate with internet using ESP8266-01″ please guide me on this
