Page 19. Note that users should close the Board Manager after the “esp8266 by ESP8266 Community” software has loaded.

Thanks! I’ve added that step to page 19 and that will be step 5 as follows:
- 5) Close the Boards Manager window
- 6) Open the Arduino Tools menu
- 7) Select Board > NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)
