I want to know is there any drawbacks putting your wifi in the boot file to start wife on boot?? I would also like to to connect to the ntp server to get time and have it update.  Would their be a problem to do that in the boot file?  Or should I just put all of them in the main file?  Thank you for your help.

Hi Ray.
You can start wifi on boot, if you prefer.
If you connect to the NTP Client on boot, and then request the current time on the main file, I don’t think there’s any problem.
Alternatively, you can put all your code in the main.py file.
Regards,
Sara
