None of the modules for sale on ebay and Amazon seem to use genuine Bosch BME280 chips. They don’t have the official Bosch logo. They are presumably chinese copies. Are they any good or where can you get a module with a genuine Bosch chip ?

You can get a chinese one. Just make sure you get an actual BME280 and not a BMP280.
