Hello Gentlemen/ Ladies
 
Since I have several problems on getting AuthToken number.
Please help and teach me how to get it.
Since I am not quite good on internet, I followed the e-book “Home Automation Using ESP8266”
 
Problem #1 Can not get AuthToken number

1. Procedure; same as the e-book
2. 1 st create ngrok account
3. 2 nd down load ngrok
4. 3 rd run ngrok software and got ngrok.exe

I understood that from this file we can get AuthToken number but could not find the way to go through.
Ex. C:\Users\xxxxx\Desktop\ngrok123>ngrok.exe authtoken (or ngrok authtoken)
     Xxxxx: my name   ngrok123: file name   ngrok.exe authtoken: entered instruction
But error came up.
I tried several instructions but every time I got errors.
Please help.
 
Problem#2 Virus warning

1. I downloaded the ngrok several times but always virus warning came up
2. After several trials I decided to ignore the warning and go down to the end.
3. Fortunately UnZip file did not have virus in it, but not sure the ngrok file was OK or not.

Is any body had the same experiences? If yes please let me how to overcome this problem.

I finally succeed getting AuthToken number. I hope my previous question did not gave you much trouble and not let you spend your precious time a lot.
I have not gone to the next step therefore I might have to ask you again but  *can not get AuthToken number* question is resolved today.
