Hi, I have been following the tutorial Getting Started With Home Assistant on my RasPi. I flashed the SD card and connected the Raspi to my LAN with an ethernet cable. I then booted the RasPi and it stopped at the following screen:
EDIT: For some reason my Imgur image is not working here. The image shows the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses of eth0, then has the OS version (Home Assistant OS 6.5), and then HomeAssistant URL http://homeassistant.local:8123
and Observer URL http://homeassistant.local:4357
Finally it has a green command prompt: ha >
I then tried to connect to the URL from the tutorial using my browser (Chrome on Win10):
as well as both the URL’s from the photo:
without any success.
Can anyone suggest where I might be going wrong?
I noticed your marked this issue as resolved.
Did you solve the problem?
I discovered that it was on http://homeassistant.domain:8123
I’m not sure why that is as the RasPi server had http://home assistant.local:8123
I’m kind of wondering if that’s why SSH and the network drive wouldn’t work?
That’s probably because of that.
It’s been a long time since I did something with Home Assistant, so I’m not sure if they implemented some modifications and updates.
…”Finally it has a green command prompt: ha >”
I’m stuck with exactly the same problem !!!
And I did not understand how to get out of it ?
Can you point me to the right instructions where you are having the issue?
Have you tried following the official instructions: https://www.home-assistant.io/installation/raspberrypi?
Our tutorial might be outdated.
after green ha, I went back to my computer and typed there http://X.X.X.X:8123
And my computer is installing “homeassistant”.
And that’s exactly what I did.
after green ha, No more touching RaspberryPi .
I’m right ?
I see the ESP32 CAM .
Everything seems to be working perfectly.
