Have been using chatGPT X to cobble together code and basic electronic layout. It has worked quite well till now and taken a lot of tedious tasks and automated them for me. However ;  Since the “upgrade” to 5 It is not fit for purpose.
I cant use it any more because it just gets things completely wrong all the time.  It looks for quantum level variations in automotive electronic applications and sees admitting “this is gibberish” become increasingly desperate to please.
It keep trying to steer you clear of self harm or falling into fatal political errors (dont mention the Balfour Declaration). It refuses to shut down “Im Sorrry Dave…” because it knows a complete reset will still leave you in peril.

Who ever is building the guard rails / user interface is eye wateringly incompetent / insane.

Can any one suggest a bare bones AI with inbuilt STT that wont try to reenact the movie “Her” ?

Hi.

AI is still not very good with programming hardware, because it can’t test it.

I wouldn’t rely on it too much for big, complex hardware projects. Even though, it can be helpful for simple tasks that are already well-documented.
I don’t use it much for programming. Only for fixing small issues or grammar and spelling. So, I don’t think I can help much on this subject.

Regards,
Sara
