Hello, I’m working on the ESP8266 programming with python. In your book ‘Getting Started with python’. You advised us to buy the ESP-12E NodeMCUWi-Fi Development Board from certain companies, such as AliExpress, eBay and so on. When I clicked on the product to order, they referred me to another ESP module that looks the same in appearance but the chip is different which one should I buy NodeMcu ESP 8266 “lolin ” V3 ch340G. It should not to be as such. Already order them but now, how to flash them with uPycraft.

Hi.
Sometimes the suppliers change the boards, and it is difficult for us to track all the changes.
That board is not the same as the one we use, but it should work anyway. The most significant difference is that you need to install the CH340 drivers on your computer if you haven’t already.
Do you already have the boards? Are you having trouble flashing micropython?
Regards,
Sara
