Node-red has no gui. I don’t know how to mount a USB stick and copy files from the USB stick on my node-red raspberry pi.

Can you please let me know how I must make that possible.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Yvonne, What do you mean that it has no GUI? Can you access the Node-RED at port 1880?
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but I was without internet for the last couple of days during a trip.

Hi Rui,

I mean that the way I installed Raspbian lite, as suggested in the course, Raspbian has no GUI.
I can access node-red at port 1880. but I wanted to copy some files to the Raspberry Pi, but I don know where to find the USB stick. Normally on the Raspberry Pi with a GUI it is in the media subdirectory, but in this version without a GUI, there is no media subdirectory.
I hope you understand the problem.
Thanks. Hope you had a nice trip.
Yvonne

In my opinion the easiest way of moving files to your Raspberry Pi (when it has not GUI) is using Filezilla which enables you to transfer files.

I recommend following this tutorial: https://www.dexterindustries.com/howto/how-to-transfer-files-to-your-raspberry-pi-from-a-pc-computer/

You can install Filezilla for free in any computer, then you establish an FTP connection with your Pi and move any file that you want.

Regards,
Rui
