I cannot load a sketch from Arduin 2.3.4 without pushing the boot switch as it begins loading. Am I going to need to push boot every time I want to load a sketch?
I think the short answer is yes. I believe there are some where you don’t have to but I haven’t come across one yet.
I have found that I can push the CYD boot button immediately after clicking on the ArduinoIDE upload button, and then go get some coffee while it is compiling and building. When I get back it is all uploaded and running. I don’t have to sit there and watch it, then push the boot button as soon as I see the dots …… and if I don’t push it soon enough, it times out and I have to wait for it to compile again.
Hi.
I’m sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
I’m not sure why that happens with some models/computers.
For example, the same CYD board doesn’t need to push the button on my computer, but it needs on Rui’s computer.
I’m not sure if it has something to do with the definitions of the USB port or something like that.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a way to solve that issue. I know it’s quite annoying…
Regards,
Sara
