Deep sleep power

After installing sketch timer wake up,current in deep sleep 11mA (not µA).
Power supply 5V at Vin ,also tried 3,3V at 3V3 input.
Stay the same 11mA instead of µA , USB disconnected

Hi Jos.
Yes, that’s true.We’re currently working on a project with ESP32 that requires deep sleep and we’re also getting around 9 to 11mA.
The ESP32 datasheet says it consumes around uA for the bare chip. But, the development board we’re using has a lot of on-board components that consume power even in deep sleep. You can desolder some on-board components to save power. For example, removing the on-board LED will save a few amps, or desoldering the voltage regulator GND pin (and don’t use the USB).

But we haven’t achieve the uA values. I think that we would need to use the bare chip for that.
