Hi.
Use the following URL instead:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/gh-pages/package_esp32_index.json

Let me know if that solves the issue.

Sara

DIYmall bd, ESP32 DEVKIT_V1.1. Installed. One problem the board port is not active. Found USB cable missing data wires. Waiting for a complete wired cable to arrive.
Thanks Sara

~snap~ I spent a day trying to diagnose a USB Port failure with my new computer. Turned out to be a dodgy cable. I suppose all th software/systems diagnostics I went through were a good refresher. Happens to the beast of us. (As well as to the likes of you and i 😉

Hi.
That usually happens if you don’t insert your network credentials correctly, or when the board is so far away from the router that it can’t catch the wi-fi signal.

I think the issue might be that you didn’t insert the network credentials correctly. Please double-check that.

Let me know if that solves the issue.
Regards,
Sara
