I have a esp-f devkitc v4 board which I would like to use to follow the home automation course. The board is not included in list of esp8266 boards known to work with arduino IDE and I cannot find any information on it on the internet other than it is a DOIT board made by Geekcreit. Does anybody have any further information?

Hello all,
The board I have appears to be identical with the one illustrated with some others at the beginning of the ‘esp pinout reference’ Does this help?

Hi John.
I’m sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
Is it this board that you have?

If it is, yes, you can use it with the Home Automation using ESP8266 course.
Otherwise, can you post an image of your board?
Regards,
Sara

Hi.
You should select NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module)
