Hello, which distance are you referring to? ESP32-CAM Wi-Fi signal? Or face recognition between the subject and camera?
Regards,
Rui

I would say that the ESP32-CAM can definitely do face recognition at 3 meters to 5 meters during my tests.

However, I think you’re looking for a reliable face recognition board.

I think for camera streaming and face recognition, you must go with a Raspberry Pi.

The ESP32-CAM works and it’s good for testing/hobby projects in face recognition. However, for a final project in that topic you must use an RPi.

The ESP32-CAM works betters for web servers and photo applications.
