I have programmed ESP32 for so many time until yesterday when I upload one of my ESP32 mini board.
The last program uploaded normally and work fine, but that was the last time I can upload this board with Arduino IDE and I couldn’t upload any other program to that board.
With this last program serial communication work fine, I can read data coming in serial monitor, but the blue led on countinuously regardless of the data present or not in the serial line.

Please help,

Hi.
That issue never happened to me but you may need to erase the flash of your board.
Take a look at this: https://randomnerdtutorials.com/esp32-erase-flash-memory/

I hope this helps.

Sara

hi Sara,
thanks alot for your promp response,
I will do as you suggested, but before that I need to know the cause of the problem.
Yesterday I upload the same software to a new ESP32. I did this step by step connecting my sensor one by one and the blue LED lit just after I connected serial2 to PZEM energy meter.
After that I couldn’t program the board anymore.

Please your help is very much appreciated
Thanks and regards

Hi.
If you want to upload code to the ESP32, you need to disconnect the peripherals from the Serial pins, because the ESP32 uses serial communication to get the code from your computer.
After uploading the code, you can connect your Serial peripherals again.

Sara
