So I have several Wemos D1R1 boards lying around and want to make a mail box notification web server(You Got Mail). My question here is how or what is the best way to distance the boards from house to mailbox (700’) . I know that there better boards to accomplish this but I would like to use what I currently have . I guess what I am asking is if there is a way I can just walk down to the mailbox box and mark out where I would have to put additional boards to get the signal to reach that distance. Thanks

Hi.
There isn’t a quick way to do that.
You’ll have to place the board where you want and then check if you get a signal. If you don’t, try to get closer to the router until you have a point where you can get a signal.

Regards,
Sara
