I am reading your ESP_CAM course,
When mounting the module on a breadboard the reset botton becomes hidden and unreachable. Can I connect an external button to do the reset function instead?

Hi.
Instead of the RESET button, you can add a pushbutton to your circuit that momentary cuts power to the ESP32-CAM. This will have the same effect as pressing the RESET button.

Hi
I tried another way, ”solv by solder”.
I disassembled the Reset button and soldered a wire to the lower input of the, nowdays, destroyd button. By connecting that wire to ground via an external button I got my function.

Great!
That’s also an option.
I’ll mark this issue as resolved. If you need further help, you just need to open a new question in our forum.

Sara

A simple solution is to use a small screwdriver to access the reset button. Just slide it under the board.
