Using the latest Fauxmo and esp8266, I can’t get Alexa to recognize the basic example program.
I’m guessing Alexa went to the version3, and the port scan is done on 80. Doesn’t work either 80 or 1900.
Any suggestions. Other that switch to esp32.

I’m sorry for the issue.
It’s been a long time since we created the Alexa and ESP32/ESP8266 project.
It seems a lot has changed in the library meanwhile…
And maybe something has changed about the Alexa products… unfortunately, the library doesn’t seem to be updated since 2024.

I’m not sure if this fits your current setup.
