I cannot get the favicon.png to display on any browser.
Looking at the network traffic it shows that a status 500 is returned so it seems to be a server problem.
I have had the same problem on all the examples I have tried and all the html has been directly copied from the zip files. (I am far too lazy to type it all on!)
The file is definitely in the data folder.
Not the most important thing in the world but I would like to sort it.
I have removed all browser history.
Any suggestions?
Alan
Hi Alan.
Did you change anything on the files provided?
What web browser are you using?
Regards,
Sara
Nothing has changed they ae a straight copy and paste from the links.
I have tried Firefox,Chrome and Safari.
Alan
Hi again.
Can you show me a print screen of your Project explorer tab in VS Code? With the data folder opened?
To share a print screen, you can use a link to google drive, dropbox, Imgur or another service that is suitable for you.

Sara
Thanks for replying.
Below is the link you requested. It is for the simplest sketch bur it does not work for other web pages.

Hi.
It seems that everything is alright.
What happens if you try to access your board IP address followed by /favicon.png ?
For example:
http://192.168.1.100/favicon.png

Sara
I had not thought of doing that although I had opened it and it looked fine.
The following link shows what I got:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ugk7dvdps1d2ved/result.PNG?dl=0
which says it does not like something.
I downloaded the favicon again from the link in the book , removed the browser cache and everything worked fine.
Thanks for your help with this annoying little problem.
Alan
In the link you’ve sent, you wrote flavicon instead of favicon.
Great!
I’m glad the issue was solved, even though I didn’t fully understand what the issue was.
I’ll mark this issue as resolved. If you need further help, you just need to open a new question in our forum.

Sara
