Hi Dear RandomNerd Tutors. I am new in this kind of thinks, and trying to learn as much possible

I am following Your Course “Learn ESP32 with Arduino IDE” and using ESP32 from “Freenove Ultimate Starter Kit para ESP32-WROVER (incluido) (compatible con Arduino IDE)” . I bought in amazon.

I am following Your Instructions “Environment Configuration” –> “Additional Boards Manager URLs” ,
You Propose to write
“https://dl.espressif.com/dl/package_esp32_index.json, http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json”

But in the Documentation of  Kit that I have from “FreeNove “ I received propose to write other URL
“https://raw.githubusercontent.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/gh-pages/package_esp32_index.json “ instead Your URL

I would like to know if there would a any trouble during the exercise of your course if I configure as recommended in the Hardware Lit “freeNove”.

And of course , Please , If You could explain me the difference between booth URLs and what i should know to decide correctly in case Others Chips That I have like “ESP32 DEVKIT V1”

I will greatly appreciate your help. And any information on where I can see the Discussion  topics of these courses with other students

I bought almost all of your courses, And probably ai will interact with You a lot.

Hi.

The link was recently updated and we didn’t update our eBooks yet.
The link you should use is the one recommended by Freenove:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/gh-pages/package_esp32_index.json

If you want to have support for ESP32 and ESP8266 boards use the URL for ESP32 and ESP8266 separated by a comma, as follows:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/gh-pages/package_esp32_index.json, http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json

I’m sorry for this issue. We’ll update the eBook soon.
Regards,
Sara
