Dear Rui and Sarah,
I follow this tutorial, but get stuck with the ssh.
I’m working at a Mac.
I installed Home Automation with the OpenSSH add-on.
I changed the configuration file with a password. It’s now like this:
1 authorized_keys: []

2 password: raspberry

3 server:

4    tcp_forwarding: false

5

When I open the terminal and type in
ssh root@192.168.178.215

it says:
ssh: connect to host 192.168.178.215 port 22: Connection refused
when I type in
ssh root@192.168.178.215:22
it says:
ssh: Could not resolve hostname 192.168.178.215:22: nodename nor servname provided, or not known
What is wrong?
Do you have any idea?

Is there another way to reboot or shutdown the Raspberry Pi with the HomeAssistant installed?
I don’t see any button in HomeAssistant to shutdown the Raspberry Pi.
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Yvonne de Vries

You don’t need to specify a port with MacOS. SSH utilizes TCP port 22 by default.
You must have had a problem when you tried to install SSH on the Pi. I would be inclined to start over from scratch.
