import BME280
Thommy answer is:
ImportError: no module named ‘BME280’

if Iinstall package bme280 and change to;
Thommy answer is;
An error occurred: ‘module’ object has no attribute ‘bme280’

Did you follow the instructions on page 204, 205, and 206?

You need to follow those instructions to properly install the library.

Very sorry!
instructions followed,
from finding I2c address is 0x77
but calling for temp
now I get
“An error occurred: [Errno 5] EIO”
wichever address i put

Hi Sara,
my sensor was a bme680 NOT bme280!!
Now everithing OK
