Need help in running the uploaded sketch on aurdino RP204 and run it with external power source,.

Hi.
Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with that board and I don’t have any of those boards to experiment with.
Have you taken a look at the board documentation? https://docs.arduino.cc/hardware/nano-rp2040-connect

Thanks Sara for checking. 
I couldnt make the Rp2040 work with external power, i tried the same on a UNO WIFI board and was able to make it work. It served my purpose. 
Please close this case.
