Hi,
I have been using the USB so far in powering the esp8266, But I wish to use battery powrer 5v – 9v …
Would  the HT7333 for 3,3v be good regulator for esp8266 …

As far I know the ESP82 use 200 mA when using Wifi ,,,

I am trying to find out

  1. how much the esp82 does actually need to run without any GIO pins in use
  2. the size of battery need to run
  3. how long the battey will last

I know that say 1 AA can only supply a certain current, without overheating, so this would then determine the size of the battery bank

    Regards
    Derek
