Do you have a set of instruction how to set up
InfluxDB When:

  • No internet
  • Has to start on power up without any User input Like username or Password
  • Data stored locally on a Pi4
  • Running it in a  Node Red MQTT Grafana configuration

I tried and failed big time spending countless hours.
Made it work but had to keep updating Noder Red nodes and entering usernames and passwords.
Could not make a stand alone reliable system

Please suggest something as I am about to revert back to use Node Red MQTT Node Red Dashboard only
configuration. That works well but you know node Red dashboard (it is a bit too simple).
BUT WORKS !!

Hi.
I’m not sure if you can access InfluxDB without authentication.

I suggest that you try to open a question on influxDB forum.
They are very active and they answer most of the questions: https://community.influxdata.com/

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Sara
