I am having trouble installing InfluxDB following your instructions.
I see on the InfluxDB website that V2 has disappeared and V3 (alpha) is now shown.
I assume the fact that V2 has disappeared is the reason that the commands don’t run?
Do you recommend installing V3 (I see also that V1 is still on the site)?

Can you tell me which errors do you get when trying to install? And at what point do you get stuck?
