It is not clear which board I should choose from the list of boards, the author clearly knows it is specific as they made a not “for me” so which board is it for me?

Hi Peter.

Do you need help selecting the board in the Arduino IDE or do you need help choosing a board to buy?

We use the DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT V1 Board: https://makeradvisor.com/tools/esp32-dev-board-wi-fi-bluetooth/

However, most ESP32 boards should be compatible.

In the Arduino IDE, we select the DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT V1

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Sara
