In the “Colors inverted on CYB/ESP32 display” topic, you mentioned creating a list of issues and solutions.  I think that’s an excellent idea, and I encourage you to do it.  It appears that there are a number of possible variations of the Cheap Yellow Display.  Among these variations are whether the touchscreen is calibrated in accordance with the mapping RNT uses in the LVGL sketches, whether the display color order is R-G-B or B-G-R, whether or not the colors are inverted (see User_Setup.h for comments on the color options), and so on.
