I see the 2nd edition has a bit about LittleFS for ESP8266..Is it similar steps for use on ESP32? If so, will be an update to the book?
And thank you both for all the hard work you put into this website/book collection.

Hi.
The SPIFFS library is deprecated for the ESP8266, that’s why we use LittleFS.
For the ESP32 we use SPIFFS.
We use both filesystems in a similar way.
We don’t use LittleFS for the ESP32.
I’m not sure if this answers your question.
Thank you for following our work.
Regards,
Sara
