I have the whole “Build a Home Automation…” project going great.
i have used rpi xrdp for Remote Desktop long time, thus I completely skipped chapt 8 unit 5 (SSH & Putty) and chapt 19 unit 5 (xrdp worked fine)
As I start Chapter 15, what implications should I be aware of as a result of skipping these.
- I’m fine, xrdp does all of that
- Go back & do those two sections to protect your stuff (why?)
- other?

Yes, that’s fine!
If you can connect to the Raspberry Pi via SSH it doesn’t matter which software you use. You can consider changing the Raspberry Pi SSH password (raspberry) when you project is ready and running.
