I would like to make a garage door control. It should work over WIFI and additional also with radio (433 Mhz). We have 4 garage doors to be controlled, but will be more later. Any idea?
Hi.
You have to be more specific.
What boards do you want to use, and what hardware do you already have?
With which projects are you familiar with?

Sara
Hi György,
Let me try to describe the steps I took to add another means of opening the garage door with another wireless switch.
[1] Identify if you already have existing buttons, you could connect in parallel.
(I have one on the wall and another one outside with a key.)
[2] If you found a button, try to understand what signal will be created.
(Mine needs to be closed for about ~250ms.)
If you have the electrical possibility to emulate the functionality off your button(s), chances are good to implement another door opener in parallel. That can be WiFi, on 433MHz ISM frequency, whatever. –
But 1sr you need to find the entry into your existing door opening system, because you want to reuse functionality to get your door open.
And never touch electrical circuits, when they are powered! – If you don’t know what you’re doing, better ask an expert.
Give it a try as a 1st step and good luck,
