Node-Red is not communicating with my Raspberry Pi. The first design to blink an LED was ok with Node-Red but it cannot trigger the LED in PIN 18

Hi.
Did you deploy your application?
Are you sure your LED is connected to Pin 18? The Raspberry Pi Pico GPIOs sometimes can be a bit difficult to locate.
Do you get any errors?
Regards,
Sara

The LED is connected to Pin 18, I am pretty sure. There were no errors generated from Node-Red.
So wondering why Node-Red is not communicating with Pi

Hi again.

Have you tried a different GPIO pin?
Can you show me a printscreen of your flow and the settings of the nodes?

To share a picture, upload it to google drive or dropbox, for example and then share a link to the files.

Sara

Thanks very much, I have sorted it out by changing the PIN.

However, I am trying to implement a schedule trigger using time such as;
start time: 7 pm
stop time: 7 am
How do I implement this using Node-Red? or what other ways can this be achieved?
Regards

Hi again.
That’s explained in the Smart Home eBook.
See Unit 8.3 and Unit 8.4.

I hope this helps.

Sara
