Hi Sara/Rui,
Thank you for your wonderful tutorials and eBooks, I am 73 years old and have been coding since 1969, creating many useful and commercially viable projects using Fortran, Basic, Pascal, Visual Basic and now Arduino C. Your articles show me that there is always something else to learn. Perhaps I’ll have a crack at Python in the future.
I am in the process of going through your Smart Home with Raspberry Pi and ESP eBook.
The end result will be a water tank monitor using LoRa to send sensor readings from three tanks to a central Dashboard.
My question is: is there a way to display a Node-Red dashboard on a Raspberry Pi Desktop without using a browser?
I could send the data to a Nextion touch screen but would prefer not to.
Thank you again for your very informative work.
Regards
Ed H
Hi Edwin.

Sara
Hi Sara,
Thank you for you quick reply.
As I said in my original post “Your articles show me that there is always something else to learn.”
There is also a saying “Seek and ye shall find.”
Well I’ve searched for solutions and found “kiosk mode” for Chrome on Raspberry Pi.
I tried a couple of suggestions and found one that works without any issues (so far).
This is the link to the article that worked for me: https://pimylifeup.com/raspberry-pi-kiosk/
Hopefully anyone else who is looking for a solution can find this helpful.
Thank you and Rui for your very informative tutorials.
Regards
Ed
Hi again,
Perhaps a tutorial on how to set up a kiosk on Raspberry Pi would be a good future project.
Anyway you can mark this as solved.
