Hello – I am starting with the course Smart Home. Does it matter  which operating system I use. I plan to use Raspberry Pi OS-Lite (Legacy) instead of the recommended 64 bit version.

Hi.
Yes, it matters because to install influxDB you need a 64-bit system.

Thanks. I got also different versions of mosquitto. So I start again.

Hi.
I recommend following everything as mentioned in the eBook starting with the operating system. Otherwise, you might have incompatibility issues in the future.
