I just downloaded Rui’s home automation course. I was wondering if the Pi 3B+ is a viable alternative to the Pi 3B for the Pi to use in that course.  Each of these Pis cost about the same amount, but the 3B+ has some additional processing power and connections.  I am asking because I was concerned that some of the code and examples might not work.  Any thoughts?

Thank you.

Yes! At the moment, you should purchase the Raspberry Pi 3 B+.

Note: the course works with any Raspberry Pi. We plan to update the course to recommend the RPi 3B+.

There aren’t any additional steps, it will work exactly with the instructions that we provide in the course.

Let me now if you have more questions or concerns!
