PlatformIO IDE does not install properly. Tried all suggestions and searched the Net 🙁
This is the error message –

Hi.
In which step exactly in the installation process do you get that error?

On page 29, second paragraph. On shutdown of VS Code and restart it tries to install PlatformIO IDE again and throws the same error message.
I have now installed all the programs as per the book on the laptop and it works 🙂
Hence there must be some program on my desktop still interfering with the installation of the PlatfoemIO IDE but I can’t find it.

Are you using a proxy? That might be causing issues.
Additionally, if you have antivirus it might cause issues in the installation process.
