Dear Random nerd Team,
I have attached playing card back side photos. We are card sorting machine in which we need to identify back side of card & put in respective rack.
Also, need to detect shape & number on front side of card. (very small ROI)
Which ESP camera module that can support this type of applications?
Any sample example of similar application ?
we have to do processing on images, not on videos.

Hi.
I’m sorry but I’m not familiar with image processing on the ESP32.
If you just use the ESP32-CAM to take pictures and then, do image processing using a third-party application or service, any ESP32-CAM will do.

If you want to use image processing algorithms on the ESP32, it may be better to use a more powerful board like the ESP32-S3 CAM (Freenove).

A better alternative to the ESP32-CAM, would be using a Raspberry Pi board with a Raspberry Pi camera because the Raspberry Pi is much more powerful for image processing.

But, as I’ve told you I have no experience in this field.

Regards,
Sara
