Can I power ESP32-CAM using 4x 1.2v AA batteries connected to 5v pin?
4.8v power supply to  5v pin of ESP32-CAM. Is it okay.

Or please suggest a compact alternative.

Hi.
I think it should work, but you have to test it yourself to see if the ESP32-CAM works properly with the batteries.

Sara
