Hi,
I tried to compile the example program for the ESP32-CAM board.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/hajo/.arduino15/packages/esp32/tools/esptool_py/2.6.1/esptool.py", line 37, in <module>
import serial
ImportError: No module named serial
Fehler beim Kompilieren für das Board ESP32 Wrover Module.

Any idea? Thanks, Hans.

Hello Hans, what’s the ESP32 board add-on that you have installed? Can you select the AI Thinker Module board instead?

Hi Rui, thanks for your answer.
Solution was: I installed the serial.py for my Linux-Mint (Github? I don’t remember). Google is my friend
