Hi,
I am having some issues with BLE. When I’ve try o use the example PROJECT 3 – ESP32 BLE Android aplication, this mensage appers:
“Runtime Error
Service C6FBDD3C-7123-4C9E-86AB-005F1A7EDA01, characteristic D769FACF-A4DA-47BA-9253-65359EE480FB are not published by the connected device.
End Application”
Do you have any idea about how could I solve this problem?
Note: I already downloaded the new BLE version for App Inventor and substituted the old one.
Hi Lucas.
Can you share a screenshot of the error?
Can you enable the location in your smartphone before accessing the application?
Regards,
Sara
Hi,
That is the Screenshot’s link.
Esp32 BLE – Runtime Error
Bluetooth and location was activated, when I click on connect, show BLE’s list and when i clicked on the ESP’s adress the app crash and send this mensage.
Hi.
Did you update to the latest BLE extension? The 2020 extension?
Here’s the link: http://iot.appinventor.mit.edu/assets/resources/edu.mit.appinventor.ble-20200828.aix
After updating, check if the Bluetooth blocks are still there. They can disappear during the updated.
If that’s the case, check this unit: https://rntlab.com/module-11/bluetooth-low-energy-ble-android-application-with-mit-app-inventor-2/
Check if some of the blocks are missing and add them, if needed.

Sara
