With pc I am no able to connect de port COM4
Can anyone help me please. thanks in advance
Hi.
Does the COM port shows up on your computer? Is the USB cable in good condition or is it damaged?
What error do you get on PC?
I’m not used to program using MAC OS. So, if you tell me the error you get on your PC, maybe I can better understand what might be causing the issue.

Sara
hello Sara,
thank you very much for your soon answer
when I connect to the pc the COM4 appears an disappears constantly from the dialogue box, and I am no able to select the port.
Maybe I buy a connection cable, do you have any suggestion for a good quality conection cable?
Thanks in advance
Hi.
It seems an issue with the USB ports or cable.
Are you using a USB Hub? Sometimes they don’t work well to connect the ESP32 boards and other peripherals at the same time, like your mouse, for example.
Is the connector a bit loose on the port or does it feel tight?
We just use regular USB cables, usually the ones that come with the boards. Any regular cable with data wires should work.

Sara
thank you Sara
I bought anode card y and cable and now works on the pc at the port COM4 it seems I forced the connection with a not suitable cable and I damaged the esp32.
Thank your very much for your help
