I still can’t find any proper sample code for the ESP32-H2 other than for use i ESP-IDF itself. Anyone know anything about support in VS-Code, alternatively Arduino IDE?
Hi.
It seems that the newest release of the esp32 core for arduino is compatible with the ESP32 H2: https://blog.espressif.com/announcing-the-arduino-esp32-core-version-3-0-0-3bf9f24e20d4
Unfortunately, I don’t have one of those boards to experiment yet.

Hi Sara,
Thanks as always for the quick reply.
I bought a number of official H2 evaluation kits but never got around to it because I have never dived into the ESP-IF as tool chain. I have always used VS Code with PlatformIO, an advice back then courtesy of your husband.
The only preliminary thing about the board is that it was from an early bird production batch so the internal ADC is not fully calibrated.
I’ll be happy to see if I can send you one, as a small token of your fantastic work and efforts.

Hi.
But, did you succeed in programming the board with the latest version?
I’ll soon search a bit about the new ESP32 boards that are coming out and see which ones are worth getting. Since that is one that’s mentioned to be compatible with matter and thread, we’ll probably take a look at it.

Sara
