Dear community,

I started looking into ESP32 debugging and came across an interesting article here on RNT:
https://randomnerdtutorials.com/serialdebug-library-arduino-ide/
Now I am a little bit confused, if I should read the article as there was a warning:

GitHub Warning

But on page (3) of the article, there seems to be a link to Github.
Could someone please clarify, if this warning is still accurate?
Please note: I fully understand, that the developer doesn’t support this tool anymore.
I just try to understand, if I should spend time on this topic.
Happy hackin’

Hi.
It seems the link is working again.
The repository was down for a long time.
I haven’t tried the project meanwhile. It seems it was not updated since 2018. So, I’m not sure if it’s still working.
Maybe it is better to try to contact the creator before trying the project and see if you can get an answer.

I’m sorry tat I can’t help much.
Regards,
Sara

Hi Sara,
Thank you for your feedback!
Looks like there is a possibility with the USB-Connector and an external power supply.
That won‘t work with the Arduino IDE anymore, but in case of bigger Projects maybe a sound alternative.
Thanks again for you support,
-Pete
