I work with esp8266 (Wemos D1 R2)
after erasing esp memory and flashing with micro Py
xxxxx.bin as you demonstrate in “your ebook”
i load the flashing led example
It is ok.
after i disconnect usb (Dell Precision W7 pro esp8266)
it is ok after i use the Thonny IDE
the power is provided by external supply
then i reset (button) or / and power off supply
after power on again the esp board , the led in NOT blinking anymore
like the uploaded micro Py example has gone…
what happend ?
boot.py issue or ?

Hi.
I’m not sure if I understood your question.
You’re saying that when connecting with Thonny IDE, the ESP8266 doesn’t run the code?
Or have you uploaded a new code with thonny IDE and it is not running?
Can you try to be more clear about your issue?
Regards,
Sara
