Hi Rui, Thanks for your help thus far. Unzipping and extracting are the same I would gather. I am almost embarrassed to ask this question as I have been able to do this before but now it has become a little more frustrating as I have tried so many different ways and get compile errors. Can you run me through unzipping a file and what I do and then renaming correctly. Sorry to ask what seems such a basic question but I think I am doing this part wrong and the more you try it the more confused one gets. I want to get on with my project and play around more with the Arduino. I am using the ESP8266 development board (not the ESP12E).

Hello, I’m here yo help, so feel free to ask any questions. Can you forget the unzipping/extracting process and follow this procedure instead?

In your Arduino IDE, you can also install the libraries by going to: Sketch > Include Library > Add .Zip library.

What’s the compilation error that you see? Thanks for your patience!
