Hi, Having quite a few of your books now, I am concerned that my Arduino IDE 2.x is asking me to update Libs and boards. As your books tell me to use certain libraries etc in the course should I keep to them or update?
This is what I have:
Libs:     Arduinojson   7.0.4     new 7.4.2
ESP Async WebServer   3.6.2   new  3.7.8
            lvgl      9.2.0   new   9.3.0
            uRTCLib        6.9.3   new    6.9.6

Boards:    ESP32 by Expressif Sysytems      3.0.4    new   3.2.0

If I update will everything still work?
Silly question but I’m not sure what to do.

many thanks

Hi.
There are some updates sometimes that completely crash previous versions.
However, at the moment, I’m using all the boards and libraries with the newest versions without problems.
So, you can update yours too.
Just make note of the current versions you have. So that if something stops working, you can roll back to the previous working version.

Sara

We’ll release a new version of the LVGL eBook soon.
And it already uses the newest version 9.3.
