I have some ESP32 DEVKIT V1 boards but I can’t them to work on either my laptop or desktop computers.
The CP2102 USB does not recognize the boards. I uninstalled, reinstalled and updated the driver from Silabs and still not recognized.
Can you help with this situation?

Some cables are only for charging so don’t have data connections

Hi.
Yes, it is probably an issue with the cables.
USB cables from powerbanks and others often don’t have data wires (they are charge only). So, your computer will never establish a serial communication with your ESP32. Using a a proper USB cable should solve your problem.
Then, let me know if getting a proper cable solved your problem.

Sara
